This Small Upholstered Victorian Antique Chair / Nursing Chair / Tub Chair dates from ca. 1890. It has an upholstered curved buttoned back and padded seat with matching braid trim. This fine antique chair stands on splayed back legs and has turned reeded front legs with brass cup castors. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
