Quality Edwardian Oak Antique Bench

This Quality Edwardian Oak Antique Bench dates from ca. 1910. It has a high back with quality carvings and moulded edges above a seat with lift up lid, having ample storage, ideal for shoes. It also has an additional squab cushion for extra comfort. This fine quality bench has two scrolled carved arms with turned supports and the piece has a panelled front with small raised feet. It has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
