This Quality Arts and Crafts, Edwardian Oak Antique Bench dates from ca. 1900 and is in a very unusual and practical design. It has a raised paneled back with quality moulded edge above a deep seat and reeded sides. This sits above two cupboard doors with ample storage, ideal for shoes. This fine quality bench stands on raised moulded feet and comes with wonderful charm and character. It has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
