Walnut and Brass Bound Antique Writing Slope Box
This stunning 19th Century Victorian Walnut and Brass Bound Antique Writing Slope Box dates from ca. 1860. It is beautifully figured with Brass banding and the interior has a tooled leather writing insert, ink well and pen compartment. This beautiful antique box has aged to a warm Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wood wax finishing.
