This Stunning Georgian Warm Oak Antique Mule Chest comes with the beautiful charm and character of a true antique and dates from ca. 1760. This stunning mule chest is of nice smaller proportions but also provides adequate storage, ideal for bed linen or Towels. It has a figured moulded lid with character marks and it has a key with working lock. This sits above a beautifully figured front with two cock-beaded drawers and Brass Swan Neck handles. This stunning antique chest stands on shaped bracket feet and the Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
