These late 19th Century Quality Set Of 8 Antique Victorian Dining Chairs are made in Walnut in the Chippendale design and stamped by William Walker & Sons, dating from ca. 1880. William Walker & Sons was a prestigious firm of cabinet makers and upholsterers, based in London, 1835-1890. These antique Victorian chairs consist of two carver arm chairs and six dining chairs. Each has a shaped back with pierced back splat and stand on splayed back legs with cabriole front legs and pad feet. The drop in seats are upholstered in the original / early worn leather and these antique dining chairs come with wonderful genuine charm and character. They have aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, are in good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
