Country House Victorian Antique Campaign Desk

This 19th Century Country House Victorian Mahogany Antique Campaign Desk dates from ca. 1860 and has aged to a wonderful warm shade. It has a moulded top with faux leather writing insert above a central drawer over knee-hole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with small turned handles and turned bun feet. This Victorian desk comes with lovely charm and character, ideal for the antique enthusiast who can fully appreciate a piece that is over 160 years old. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
