Dating from the early 19th Century ca. 1840, this Delightful Country House Antique Elm Windsor Chair has a curved spindle back with beautifully figured shaped seat and out-swept arms. It stands on four turned legs with a cross stretcher. This beautiful antique chair is full of beautiful charm and character, as one would expect and consistent with age, adding to its character and authenticity. The Elm has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
